As 2026 draws to its halfway point, the mid and senior management teams of New Idea Group gathered in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, holding a three-day mid-year summary conference and team-building retreat at InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort.
We draw insights from conference reviews and unite team spirit amid snow mountains and ancient towns. This trip integrated strategic discussions, team cultivation and relaxing cultural experiences. All management staff aligned their mindsets and reached consensus amid stunning natural scenery, building robust momentum for high-quality development in the second half of the year.

The 2026 mid-year summary conference officially kicked off on July 18, centered on the core theme Review and Refine, Unite and Forge Ahead, with two key agendas. Heads of each department took the stage in turn to deliver in-depth reports covering business indicators, project implementation, team development and existing weaknesses. They reviewed performance with concrete data, confronted development bottlenecks head-on, thoroughly analyzed pain points and obstacles in business operations, and openly shared work experience. Through comprehensive reviews, teams identified deficiencies and summarized applicable practical expertise.
Based on the overall business performance of the first half of the year, General Manager Mr.Zhang refined the group’s overall development strategy for the second half. He clarified core targets for each business segment, progress schedules for key projects, resource allocation plans and assessment criteria. Clear action road maps and targeted priorities ensured all management cadres shared identical goals and coordinated execution.

At the end of the conference, all participants took a group photo to record this precious moment, a solid testimony to their joint dedication. That evening, an exclusive warm dinner was hosted by the hotel. Amid toasts and conversations, everyone relieved daily work stress and narrowed gaps between cross-regional teams. After dark, colleagues toured Dayan Ancient Town together, discussing work and future plans under the glowing lanterns of Sifang Street.

Strategies are formulated on paper, while team cohesion is forged amid mountains and rivers. On July 19, the entire management team visited Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Blue Moon Valley, pushing personal limits and boosting team solidarity amid magnificent natural landscapes.
Early in the morning, the group departed by chartered bus for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the northernmost permanent snow mountain range close to the equator in the Northern Hemisphere. Upon arriving at Ganhaizi, they overlooked the full view of the snow mountain before taking the large cable car to the 4,680-meter viewing platform, standing face to face with towering glaciers. On the high plateau, colleagues supported and reminded one another, slowing their pace to alleviate altitude sickness. Standing atop the snow mountain, they challenged their limits together, embodying the fearless and collaborative fighting spirit of all New Idea employees.

In the afternoon, the group headed to Blue Moon Valley, known as “Little Jiuzhaigou”. Crystal clear turquoise water cascades in layers, with snow-capped mountains mirrored across the lake surface. Everyone wandered along wooden boardwalks to take photos, unwind and exchange thoughts. Immersed in pristine nature, they released work pressure, broke down departmental barriers and strengthened mutual bonds.
After the full-day mountain excursion, the team returned to the resort uniformly. They enjoyed free leisure time strolling the ancient town, reflecting calmly at a gentle pace to recharge for upcoming work.
On July 20, the final day of the trip featured a leisurely tour of Shuhe Ancient Town. Less bustling than Dayan Ancient Town, Shuhe retains authentic primitive Naxi folk vibes, lined with bluestone alleys and scattered traditional dwellings. Participants roamed freely to fully experience Naxi culture and local customs, wrapping up the Lijiang trip in a laid-back atmosphere.

This three-day Lijiang journey balanced rigorous, down-to-earth strategic seminars with team bonding embraced by mountains and rivers.
In the second half of 2026, all management cadres of New Idea Group will return to their posts with ideas and gains from this conference. With clearer goals, more pragmatic actions and stronger unity, they will lead their teams to spare no effort in hitting full-year targets, unite to forge ahead, and jointly draw a brand-new development blueprint for the Group!
