As the traditional Dragon Boat Festival draws near, to carry forward the warmth of folk customs, fulfill social responsibilities, and earnestly care for vulnerable groups in the community, volunteer representatives from New Idea Group visited Siji Garden Community to launch a charity condolence activity themed “Warmth for Dragon Boat Festival, Care for the Community”. Through heartfelt acts, they extended festive greetings and best wishes to underprivileged residents and senior Party members in the neighborhood.
During the visit, charity representatives from New Idea Group, community staff and resident Party leaders paid door-to-door visits to disadvantaged households and elderly Party members. They delivered daily necessities including rice, cooking oil and milk, bringing tangible care to residents. At every household, the delegation chatted warmly with the residents, carefully asking about their physical health, daily routines and living conditions, patiently listening to their genuine needs and learning about practical difficulties they encountered in life. They also kindly reminded residents to take precautions against heatstroke amid changeable summer weather and take good care of themselves. They assured residents that they could turn to the community for any hardships in life.
