On the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival, our company launched a public welfare activity at Hongqiao International Exhibition Center on May 26. Our Shanghai employees acted as volunteers, cleaning shared bicycles in the park and sending festival wishes to property staff, conveying love and responsibility with practical actions and injecting warmth and strength into the traditional festival.
On the day of the event, representatives of New Idea employees came to the park property service center with pre-prepared zongzi to send this token of gratitude to the property staff on the frontline. A New Idea employee representative said, “Property masters run around every day for the safety and hygiene of the park and have to be on duty during the Dragon Boat Festival. We want to express our gratitude with this intention.” The property staff who took the zongzi smiled and said, “This intention is sweeter than zongzi!”
Subsequently, the team members of New Idea Group’s Shanghai branch carried cleaning tools and divided into groups to comprehensively clean the shared bicycles parked in the park. From the frame to the basket, from the tires to the chain, volunteers carefully wiped every bit of dust and neatly returned the improperly parked bicycles to their places. Many employees said, “Shared bicycles are an important tool for traveling in the park. Cleaning them not only beautifies the environment but also shows love for public resources.”
New Idea Group has always integrated social responsibility into its development concept. Taking the Dragon Boat Festival as an opportunity, this activity is not only the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture but also the practice of the enterprise’s concept of “green development and giving back to society”.
